Why we built
The Cork Studio.
We started from a clear observation: cork is one of the most capable natural materials available - acoustically, thermally, tactilely - and almost none of it was reaching Indian designers, operators, and brands in a form they could actually specify or order reliably.
Cork products in India were imported generics - no provenance, inconsistent quality, no custom capacity. Architects wanted cork for serious projects but had nowhere credible to go. Brands wanting it for gifting faced importers who couldn't meet MOQs or timelines.
We built this studio to fix that. One material, six categories, applied properly - interiors, hospitality, gifting, workspace, lifestyle, and custom fabrication. Specification-grade quality, honest lead times, one point of contact.

Why cork.
Why now.
Cork comes from the bark of the cork oak - Quercus suber - grown primarily in Portugal. The tree is never cut down; bark is stripped by hand every nine years and fully regenerates. Each tree yields cork for 150-200 years.
Its closed-cell structure delivers thermal insulation, acoustic absorption, natural grip, and compression recovery - without chemical binders or surface coatings.
